Privacy policy
Short version: we collect your email so we can send you what you asked for, and we do not sell it.
This document is a working draft written to cover the obvious ground. It has not been reviewed by an Australian lawyer and must be before this site accepts a payment or takes an enquiry from an investor.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you join the waitlist or subscribe.
- How long you have been trading, if you tell us on the waitlist form. This is optional and only used to decide what to write.
- Basic technical data your browser sends to any website, such as IP address and user agent, in server logs.
We do not ask for and do not want your broker credentials, account numbers, trading passwords or payment card details. Payments, when they begin, will be handled by a third-party payment processor and card details will never reach our servers.
Why we collect it
To send you the publications you asked for, to operate your subscription, and to answer you when you get in touch. That is the whole list.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
- We do not share your email with advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not send you unrelated marketing from other businesses.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to run the site: hosting, email delivery, and (once subscriptions open) a payment processor. They may process data outside Australia. They are bound to use it only to provide their service to us.
Unsubscribing
Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link. It works immediately and there is no confirmation step designed to make you reconsider.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will do it. Under the Australian Privacy Act you may also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if you are not satisfied with how we handle a request.
Retention
We keep your email while you are subscribed or on the waitlist, and delete it on request. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting.
Cookies
This site uses only what is needed to function. If analytics are added later, this page will be updated first and the tooling chosen will be one that does not track you across other websites.
